Zoo Tots - Animal Tales

What: Encouraging youth literacy, Zoo Tots - Animal Tales features a live animal character from a selected story book that is read to the children. Over the course of 30 minutes, each child has the opportunity to not only listen to a different animal story each visit but also to meet the main characters of the book! Children may touch the animals and learn more about them after the story reading in this interactive story telling program. 

Where: Classes take place in the Zoo Classroom next to the Oceans Exhibit. Participants enter through the Administration Building to the right of the Zoo Admission gates and check in at the Reception Desk. 

Who:  Zoo Tots - Animal Tales are designed for children ages 3-5 years. A parent/guardian should attend with their child

Registration is required and class size is limited to 30 participants (including parents/guardians).

Prices (per class, includes child and adult) - does not include Zoo admission
Zoo Members $8
Non-Zoo Members $14 

Advanced payment is required. You can pay for programs by credit card over the phone, mailing a check or stopping by the Zoo Administration offices to make your payment.
