The Mel McKay Express

If you would enjoy seeing the zoo by train, then ride the Mel McKay Express. This miniature replica of an old steam engine leaves the station every fifteen minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the admissions office.

Cost: $2.00 per person

The Endangered Species Carousel

Take a ride on the wild side on the custom built "Endangered Species Carousel."  The carousel seats up to 45 people, and is handicapped accessible.  Zebras, gorillas, and tigers are just of the few exotic animals featured on the carousel.  Tokens can be purchased at the carrousel.

Cost: $2.00 per person

Pony Rides

Have your little ones (85 pounds or less) enjoy a pony ride in our petting zoo. This seasonal attraction is offered May through September.  Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or at the attraction.

Cost: $4.00 per person

The Wild Things Gift Shop

Niabi Zoo has a great gift shop with a large selection of clothing, toys and educational items. Take your zoo memories home with you after your big day at Niabi Zoo. Stroller and wheelchair rentals are available in the Wild Things Gift Shop.

A photo ID is required to be held by gift shop staff while stroller or wheelchair is in use. All rentals are available on a first come, first served basis and can not be reserved.

The Zoo Concessions and Wolf Ridge Grill offers a wide variety of concessions, with umbrellas and tables for comfortable snacking.
