Title: Orangutan Jungle School U.S. Premiere

Description: Debbie Clemens from Orangutan Outreach (and previous Conservation & Science Speaker), returns to Niabi Zoo to premiere the first episode of a new 10-part documentary series called Orangutan Jungle School. Orangutan Outreach has teamed up with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) and NHNZ Productions to create the series that was filmed at BOS Nyaru Menteng in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo— the largest orangutan rescue and care center in the world.

Orangutan Jungle School follows a group of young orangutans as they learn the social and survival skills they will need in order to be successfully released back into the forests of Borneo. It can be seen in the U.S. this August on the Smithsonian Channel, as well as streaming online.

Bring the family to watch the first episode (before the rest of the country) on the big screen at Niabi!

The proceeds of the viewing will benefit the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation.
