Let’s paint a whale shark!
Gather your friends (age 21 and over) or come and make friends to enjoy your favorite beverage while learning about endangered Whale Sharks and how to paint them during this special Drink & Design. All skill levels are welcome! You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy learning.
Special Guest: Rafael de la Parra, whale shark researcher from Ch’ooj Ajauil (Blue Kingdom), Niabi’s long-time conservation partner. He will share unique features and stories about endangered whale sharks, the largest fish in the world, and the collaborative work that Niabi Zoo is doing with Ch’ooj Ajauil to help save this species. Proceeds will go to support the continued conservation efforts of Ch’ooj Ajauil for whale shark research.
Cost per person: $50, which includes art supplies, animal inspiration, and of course, Drinks! Alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
