We inspire to take conservation action

We offer a variety of engaging education programs that are integrated with conservation messaging and action steps, while still being interactive and fun. Our curriculum is developed to reach all age groups from young children to senior citizens, support education standards, and take in to account the learning style and experience of each participant.

Who says learning can’t be fun? Each class had a different theme and age appropriate educational experiences that will feed your child’s passion for animals. Available year-round.

Let’s go to Camp! Join us for fun, hands-on, interactive learning experiences.  Each week-long day camp is seasonally themed and available during school breaks (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter).

Go behind the scenes to observe a training session with zookeepers and the animals. Learn what it takes to care for our animals 365 days a year.

Each month, enjoy a catered meal with your family and build memories together during a behind-the-scenes visit, an up-close animal encounter, and more! Available year-round.

Field trips and group outings are an engaging way to educate your group about animals, habitats and conservation. Check out our tour packages to create a memorable and educational visit!

Would you like to learn what it takes to work professionally with animals? Get the inside scoop on schooling and experience needed, the types of careers available, and more!

Niabi regularly hosts scientists discussing real issues in zoology, conservation, climate science, animal behavior, horticulture and more. These talks are geared toward adults and college students. Get the facts from the experts and take conservation action.

Can’t come to the Zoo? Bring the Zoo2U! Our education outreach programs allow participants to learn about animals, their habitats, diet, adaptations and conservation. These curriculum based programs are presented by professional educators in a fun, educational way.

Whether it is a class-based program, conservation chat, behind the scenes or habitat tour, we can bring the zoo experience directly to your digital class, group meeting, or living room…virtually!
