Ages: Children ages 6-9 years old.
Description: Animal Adventures is a 45-minute interactive class that provides a truly unique opportunity for children to meet animals up close. Using interactive physical activities, participants will learn about animal adaptations, gain an understanding of how animals move, what their habitat is like and how they protect themselves.
Location: Classes take place in the Discovery Center classroom. Participants can enter the Discovery Center building to the right of the zoo admission gates and check in at the reception desk. Classes may go on to zoo grounds so participants should dress appropriately for seasonal weather.
When: 45-minute sessions offered every other Saturday from 10:15-11:00 a.m. from January - April and September - December.
Cost per class: Zoo members: $10 | Non-members: $13 (Does not include zoo admission.)
