Ages: Children 3-5 years old plus a parent/guardian.
Description: Animal Tales encourage youth literacy as a zoo educator will read an animal story to the children and parent/guardian. Then, meet a main character of the book during a live animal presentation! Participants may touch the animal and learn more about it. Each class features a different story and animal.
Location: Classes take place in the Discovery Center classroom. Participants can enter the Discovery Center building to the right of the zoo admission gates and check in at the reception desk.
When: 30-minute sessions offered every other Saturday from 9:30-10 a.m. from January - April and September - December.
Cost: Zoo members: $8 | Non-members: $11 (Price per class. Does not include zoo admission.)
