Zoo hours for 2024: The zoo is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last entry is at 4 p.m. The zoo is closed on Mondays, except for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Indigenous Peoples Day. Back by popular demand, we will be holding an animal art sale! Art by a whole host of animals will be available on zoo grounds. This is a chance to purchase a unique piece of art created by your favorite animal artist to adorn your home, office or to give as a unique gift for that special someone. So, please mark your calendars and join us for our animal art show/sale.

Location: Tent in front of Gibbons (hand sanitizing station and social distancing encouraged). Entrance is included with price of admission.
Types of Art: Unique, one of a kind, original animal footprints, snake body prints, and paintings by a whole host of our animals to include footwork art by canids and cats, finger painting by monkeys, nose artwork by zebra, rhino, and others, and art utilizing paintbrushes by primates, giraffe, red fox, sloth, armadillo, parrots, bats, and many others. Prices begin at $10 and up.
Forms of Payment: Payment will be taken at the Gift Shop (cash, check or charge)
Proceeds: All proceeds benefit the animals directly by enabling Niabi’s Enrichment Supply & Task Center a.k.a. the NEST to continue to provide supplies and behavioral enrichment devices for the Zoo’s animals.
