As we celebrate the longest day of the year on World Giraffe Day, enjoy a tall order of breakfast then go on a tour to meet our tall boy Kenya at the Giraffe barn. Find out how zookeepers care for this endangered species as we work to save the world’s tallest animal from a “silent extinction.” Breakfast will be served in the Discovery Center Gallery. After everyone is finished eating, Conservation Educators will lead the group on a walking tour to meet the Giraffe keepers and Kenya the Reticulated Giraffe.
Admission to the Zoo is included so be sure to join us after breakfast in the Zoo for World Giraffe Day activities on the festival lawn for fun with the whole family!
